Hovering Compass
Do you know Earth has its own magnetic field? Just like the blue sky, Earth’s magnetic field has always been there. Discovered by accident, lodestones (magnets) were further refined and a compass was born. Hailed as one of the top four inventions of China, let’s discover and see for ourselves how magnets are used in a compass to tell direction, since they always rest in a North-South direction due to Earth’s magnetic field.

Do you know how to make binoculars in your own home? Now you can! Easy to make and endless fun for you and your little ones! Take the binoculars outdoor and explore the world around you with the binoculars!
Fruit Battery
Do you know an apple does not just keep the doctor away? An apple can be a battery that lights up a lightbulb and shows the time on a clock. In actual fact, not just apples. Lemons, durians, bananas, pumpkins, potatoes, tomatoes are all power banks! Discover with the Fruit Battery STEM toy and see the wonder of chemical potential energy in fruits and vegetables.
Maglev Pen
Do you know things can float without you touching them? Or you can move something from a distance? Well, magnets have these special abilities! Magnets can show your little tots the amazing ways our world works, from the door stopper to the high-speed trains in Japan. We will also do an additional experiment commonly seen in Primary School homework, tests and exams: ring magnets through a wooden pole and the questions seen in the exam.
Magnetic Car
Do you know we can move a toy car without touching it? Well, the Magnetic Car does just that! Little tots love the Magnetic Car and can spend an entire afternoon playing with it! Easy to make, the Magnetic Car also shows your little tots that Like Poles of a magnet repel, how they act from a distance and the two different poles of a magnet.
Little tots will also be a scientist for a day and note down their observations by circling 🙂 or 🙁. Answer key provided. Some tots also paint or decorate their cars with stickers, making it a highly personalised possession that they hold dear.
